Independent pharmacists embody the character traits of the Texas cowboy - a spirit of independence and self-reliance, inner strength, determination, resilience, camaraderie and respect - with today's "Pharmacy Cowboy" referring to any pharmacist, rural or urban, regardless of sex, race, creed, color or background, who believes that character in pharmacy counts.

Pharmacy Cowboys fight daily against the Pharmacy Benefit Manger (PBM) Outlaws who reek havoc on the good people of Texas. We unite against this injustice by joining together with the Texas Pharmacy Association - Independent Pharmacy Academy;

In Pharmacy Cowboy terms a/k/a "The Texas Pharmacy Posse."

One Pharmacy Cowboy aims to use this new-fangled internet to increase awareness of Texas pharmacy advocacy issues, build a community of grassroots activism, and share one pharmacist's journey in independent pharmacy ownership.
